Elsie I. Hartemann 89 of Holly Hill Florida passed away April 21 2009. She was born on February 18 1920 in Clifton NJ to immigrant parents; her Father from Austria and her Mother from Hungary. She and her parents worked for many years for Becton Dickinson Company Elsie as a bookkeeper. In 1979 she and her husband Harvey to whom she was married 44 years retired and relocated to Florida. She was a devoted Christian and regularly attended Christ United Methodist Church in Holly Hill. Elsie enjoyed quiet times at home knitting sewing or spending time with her beloved dogs. One of her favorite pastimes was the simple pleasure of dining out with her husband and friends. Elsie will be interred at Shady Rest Cemetery in Holly Hill next to her deceased brother Otto. Elsie is survived by her son Ronnie (Sandra) Hartemann of Charlotte NC; grandchildren Susie (John) Sink of Charlotte NC Doug (Maria) Hartemann of Charlotte NC two great-grandchildren and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey and brothers Otto and Oscar Schablik. Donations may be made to Florida Hospital Hospice Care 770 W.
