Elsa Lillian Pearson, 95 of Ormond Beach, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at
Coquina Nursing Center.  In addition to her parents, Elsa was preceded in death by her husband
Robert (Bob) Alan Pearson and two brothers.

Elsa was born October 3, 1926 in New Bedford, MA.  Her father, Axel Sward immigrated from
Sweden, and became the chief glass etcher at Pairpoint Glass company in New Bedford.  Elsa
met her husband Robert (Bob) Pearson in New Bedford.  They were married 66 years.

Elsa loved to sing, and shared her singing talents in church and community choirs over the
years.  She was also a wonderful hostess, and loved to cook, and bake.  It was a pleasure for Elsa
and Bob to entertain friends and family in their home over the years.  They enjoyed travelling
and visited 18 countries.  Elsa and Bob moved from Cape Cod, MA to Ormond Beach, FL in
1999, where they became active members of Lighthouse – Christ Presbyterian Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother-in-law David Pearson, and a number of nieces and
nephews, cousins, and close friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
