Ellen Schneider age 91 of Port Orange went home to be with our Lord on Thursday October 15 2009 at Halifax Medical Center. A private graveside service will be held at Daytona Memorial Park. The family does invite friends to a Memorial Service on Sunday October 18 2009; 10:50 a.m. at Countryside Lakes 941 Village Trail Port Orange with Dr. Robert Elzey officiating. Ellen was born in Brillion Wisconsin to Orvil and Alvina Huebner. She came to this area with her husband in 1983 and dedicated her life as a homemaker wife and mother. She along with her husband was a proud member of Gideon's International enjoyed cooking needle point crocheting sewing and was an avid sports fan and reader. Her beloved husband of 64 years Roy Schneider preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two children; Robert (Sue) Schneider Kathy (Tom) Tyrrell three grandchildren; Randy (GiGi) David (Laura) and Rebecca Schneider three great-grandchildren; Jeremiah Heavenly Marie and Lucas Schneider and two sisters; Pearl Zimmer and Bea Berendsen.
