Ella Demaris "Dee" Kindergan, Ormond Beach, was born March 21, 1942 and raised in West Virginia. She married Robert (Bob) Kindergan in 1959. They spent 20 years in the US Navy and she worked various bookkeeping jobs. After they retired from the Navy, Dee went into accounting for the State of Virginia.

After their retirement they moved to Ormond Beach into the Aberdeen Community. At Aberdeen she was very active and became the bookkeeper of the Social Committee and eventually running the committee. Her husband Bob was very active with the Knights of Columbus so she became very active in the Ladies Auxiliary and participated in many KofC activities. She was also very active in the Ormond Beach Police Department Volunteer Patrol. She was also on the bereavement committees at Prince of Peace Church and in Aberdeen.

She is survived by Bob, her husband of 55 years, son Walter D. Kindergan, grandchildren Brittany and Joseph Kindergan, and Rachel Gibbs with great-grandson, Logan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church; 600 S. Nova Ave. Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow on Friday Nov. 21st at Florida National Cemetery; Bushnell, FL Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
