Elizabeth ""Betty"" Zuber 85 Port Orange passed away Saturday June 27 2009 at Hospice Care Center in Port Orange of cancer. Born in Greenville South Carolina Betty was the daughter of Guy and Mattie Finley. Betty moved here in 1946 where she met and married Robert ""Bob"" Zuber owner of Zuber Meat Market. They were married for 47 years and raised three children. She enjoyed gardening; decorating for many years and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Bob and son Patrick. Survivors include her daughter Cecilia ""Anne"" Buckles Port Orange and Robyn Ellen Welch; and son-in-law Bill Welch; three grandchildren Pamela Clay Magnolia TX Michael Felton Port Orange and Jenna Welch Port Orange; four great-grandchildren Madi Taylor and Jared Magnolia TX and Haley Felton Garrettsville OH. A Memorial Service will be held at Cardwell Funeral Home Thursday July 2 at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Hospice Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
