Elizabeth Santiago 73 of Daytona Beach passed away peacefully after a long illness with her family by her side on February 24 2011. Elizabeth was born on January 5 1938 in Ponce Puerto Rico to the late Jesus & Luz Ma (Echevarria) Borrero. A Memorial Service/Mass will be held in Elizabeth's honor on Saturday March 5 2011 at 9AM at the Basilica St. Paul Catholic Church located at 317 Mullally Street Daytona Beach FL with an interment at a later date at the Municipal Cemetery of Ponce Clausell in Puerto Rico. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 56 years Leopoldo Santiago; hers sons Orlando Santiago and his wife Leasa of Ormond Beach FL; and Leopoldo Santiago Jr. of Daytona Beach FL; her grandchildren Chris Santiago of Ormond Beach FL; Jessica Santiago of Ormond Beach FL; and Alex Santiago of NY; her siblings Augustin Borrero Jesus Borrero & Teresa Borrero; and numerous nieces and nephews. Elizabeth celebrated her life with many close friends and adoring family and enjoyed such activities as cooking sewing volunteering in various church functions and community related events and was a member of the Basilica St. Paul Catholic Church.
