Elizabeth.O. Peeney of Port Orange Florida passed away Thursday 11/10/11 at the hospice of Volusia/Flagler Care Center in Port Orange Florida. She was preceded in death her husband of 54 years. Franklin P. Peeney and stepdaughter F.Barbara Simmons of Saratoga N.Y. She is survived by her 3 sons David Peeney of Lathem NY Mark Peeney of Albany NY John Peeney of Port Orange FL and her Stepson Franklin Peeney Jr. of Schenectady NY. She is also survived by many grand-children and great-grandchildren and great grand children.. Liz was a faithful member of the Epiphany Catholic Church and a volunteer at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler. Although she is gone she will be remembered by so many who cherished and loved her. The viewing will be held at Lohman Funeral home Port Orange Thursday November 17 2011 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm with a prayer service at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Epiphany Catholic Church Friday November 18 2011 at 10:30am with burial to follow at Daytona Memorial Park.
