Elizabeth K. Hopson 90 of Daytona Beach passed away on January 6 2009. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of Baggett-Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach at 10:00 a.m. Friday January 9 2009. After growing up in Tilden Illinois she moved to this area in 1985 from Sun City AZ. She married her husband Robert and has been married for 69 years. Betty was a former model ""she was a windy ward from 1964-1970 in LaGrange IL"". She was an avid bridge player and a former Pelican Bay resident. She was active in the Museum Guild and a co-chair of the Halifax Art Festival for several years. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Robert L. Hopson of Daytona Beach; one son Robert Hopson Jr. (Fea) of North Palm Beach Florida; daughter Sally Gardiner (Kenneth) of Daytona Beach; four grandchildren Kathy Rob Jay Christina; and seven great-grandchildren.
