Elizabeth "Betty" Stewart Goldman age 94 of Daytona Beach passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 24 2010 at the Horizon Health Care. A funeral service in her honor will be held Tuesday March 2 2010; 11:00 AM at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home followed by and interment at Daytona Memorial Park. A gathering and visitation will be held Monday March 1 2010; 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Elizabeth was born one of ten children in Edinburgh Scotland to Donald and Katherine McDonald her early years where dedicated to helping her mother raise her siblings and later she dedicated her life to the joy of being a wife and loving her husband. She found joy visiting the United States and made numerous overseas journeys before making it her home. She enjoyed her husbands membership with the Daytona Beach Elks Lodge spent several years making lasting friendships with the members and will best be remembered for her feisty nature beautiful smile generous heart and great love of life. She is preceded in death by her parents siblings beloved husband of 30 years; Louis Goldman and dear sister; Margaret "Daisy" Turner. She leaves behind a brother Joseph (Anne) McDonald of Scotland a step-daughter Regina White Daytona Beach dear friend companion and caregiver; Carolyn Shultz Daytona Beach and many other friends and several nieces nephews cousins and family in Scotland. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Daytona Funeral Home.
