Elizabeth Ann Etheridge, 51, of Ormond Beach passed away February 22, 2015.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, with a Prayer Vigil during the second visitation at the Basilica of St. Paul. Funeral Service is Wednesday, Feb. 25th at the Basilica of St. Paul at 11:00 am.

Beth was born February 5, 1964 in Yonkers, New York. She moved to Daytona Beach in 1974. She graduated from Seabreeze High School, Class of 1982. She earned her BA from Salem College, Class of 1986; and her MA from the University of Montevallo, Class of 1988. Beth worked for 18 years as a mental-health counselor at the Children's Advocacy Center. Most recently, she enjoyed being a guidance counselor at the Basilica School of St. Paul. This was her dream job. Beth was an active member of the parish for 15 years, where she took part in the Prison Ministry, was a Eucharistic Minister, and also taught Children's Liturgy.

Beth leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Bekah Etheridge, her mother Marjorie White, and her siblings: Lynne Talbott (Gary), Mark White (Diane), and Paul White (Christa). Beth was predeceased by her father George White. Beth's legacy will live on in the hearts of the children that she touched. A scholarship fund has been established in her honor through the Basilica School of St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Basilica School of St. Paul. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
