Elizabeth Ann Cole left this world to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 20, 2013 after an intense bout with cancer. "Ann" was surrounded by her loving family at West Volusia Care Center in Orange City Fl. A Funeral Mass for Ann will be at 10;00 AM, Thursday, October 24, 2013 at St Peter's Catholic Church, Deland Fl. followed by interment at Deltona memorial Gardens in Orange City.
Ann was born November 7, 1935 and raised in Troy, OH. Her deceased parents were Albert N. and Margaret J Dirscherl. Ann was energetic all her life, especially enjoying tennis and yogo. Though retired from Volusia County Schools, Ann continued to work part-time as a teacher's assistant in elementary schools. Ann and husband Ron moved to Florida in 1979. Ann was an active member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church volunteering in several service programs. Ron and Ann reveled in their annual trek to Ohio to meet with Troy High School classmates. Ann is survived by husband Ron. The couple was married in 1966 and raised three daughters: Kathleen Fair Royer of Faifield, OH; Karla Fair Adams of Auburn GA and Kelly Fair Dulac of Deland Fl. Others family members are: granddaughter Sara Royer True and great-grandchildren Kadin, Issac, Levi and Eden; graddaughters Noel Adams Finch and Evan Adams; great-granddaughters Ginny and Anna Beth Finch; and grandson Chance Dulac. Ann is also survived by brothers Denis Dirscherl, S.J. of Fairborn OH and Damian "Bud" Dirscherl of Waynesville NC.
