Elizabeth Bayona 52 of Cape Coral FL. passed away June 21 2012. A visitation will be held on Friday June 29 2012 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast FL. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 30 2012 at 11:00 AM at the New Way Christian Fellowship Church Palm Coast. Elizabeth was born and raised in Brooklyn New York where she attended and graduated from Bushwick High School. She then attended Mohegan College CT and Southern Illinois State University graduating with her Bachelor's Degree. Elizabeth worked for the CT department of Corrections as the Deputy Warden; she was to retire in October of this year. She was well liked and respected by all of the inmates and staff. Elizabeth initiated the Vocational program at York Facility in Niantic CT for women teaching women valuable skills for when they were released. She was a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship Church Ledyard CT. Elizabeth moved to Florida 2 months ago to be closer to her family. She is survived by her Daughter Elizabeth Acloque and her husband Pierre-David of Palm Coast and several of her siblings. She was also the loving grandmother to her two grandchildren Joaquin David and Olivia Elizabeth.
