Elizabeth Floria Barbieri passed away Friday March 15 2013 at the Wesley Healthcare Center in Saratoga Springs New York. Elizabeth was born in Newark New Jersey the eldest child of Salvatore and Philomena Floria. She was married to Domenick Barbieri also from New Jersey for 50 wonderful years. They resided in Middlesex New Jersey for many years before retiring to Florida in 1978 where they lived for almost 23 years first in Deltona and then Ormond Beach. In 2001 after the death of her husband Elizabeth relocated to upstate New York to be near her daughter Betty and her family. She is survived by her children Donald and his wife Carol Jeffrey and his wife Lori and Elizabeth Aldi and her husband Chris; her grandsons Stephen (Nicole) Barbieri Andrew (Brittany) Barbieri Michael and Timothy Barbieri and Robert Anthony and Vincent Aldi and her two favorite Sunday companions: Doggies Rosie and Gino. Elizabeth was also pre-deceased by her brothers Luigi (Harry) and Americo (Pat) Floria. She is survived by her brother Giovanni (John) and his wife Marie; and her sister Helen Martelli; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman's Funeral Home Ormond. Services will be private for the family. Interment will be at the Shady Rest Cemetery in Holly Hill Florida.
