Eliseo Garcia, 59 of Eustis FL, peacefully passed away on September 9th, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Eliseo was born to Maria and Gildardo Barrios in Paso Real, Michuacan, Mexico on May 19th, 1955. Eliseo is survived by his wife, Vicky Garcia; children and families of, Toni Garcia Montz, Kara Garcia White, Dustin S. Garcia and Jason Garcia; eleven grandchildren, Shawn, Brandon, Josilyn, Kloee, Elisea, Lillie, Jason, Loralei, Madison, Ethan, and Loni; his mother Maria Orozco Garcia; siblings and families of, Angel, Santiago, Marianno. Jose, Lilly, Maria Ellia and Maricella. He had eighteen nieces and thirteen nephews.
Eliseo grew up caring for his four brothers and three sisters and came to the United States in 1978. After moving to Florida, in 1980, Eliseo spent his life working in the construction industry. Known by his close friends as "Levi", all that knew him loved and respected him dearly for his never bending love of family, strong morals, work ethic, and sense of humor. Eliseo expressed that his greatest accomplishment in life was his family and as such, his love for his wife, children and grandchildren knew no bounds. Eliseo loved landscaping "projects" at home, the outdoors, long walks on the beach and road trips with his wife. Surely, the smallest bird will surely miss him as he was an avid animal lover and cherished them all.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday September 20th, 2014 at Lohman Funeral Home located at 935 E. New York Avenue, Deland, Florida, 32724. Following the service, friends and family are invited to the Garcia residence to share loving memories and respectful celebration of this wonderful man's life.
