A Funeral Service for Elinor James Corcella 70 of Ormond by the Sea FL who passed away unexpectedly Friday April 3 2009 will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday April 8 2009 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach FL with the family receiving friends on Tuesday April 7 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Elinor was born in Paris KY on November 26 1938 and came to the area from Huntington WV in 1994. She was a realtor/associate with Al Weeks and Associates Inc. She was a member and deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Daytona Beach. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Dr. John Corcella; four daughters: Jenny (Tony) Luttrell of Frankfort KY Tracy (Tim) Urian of Huntington WV Maureen (Joe) Duda of Glen Rock NJ and Ellen Corcella of Indianapolis IN; her son James (Cathy) Corcella of Columbus OH; eight grandchildren: Wendy (John) Scharf of Long Island NY John Charles Duda of Charlottesville VA Molly & Wes Urian of Huntington WV John James Corcella of Columbus OH Anna & Lizzy Parlet of Columbus OH; two great granddaughters: Kayla & Alexa Scharf of Long Island NY; her sister Barbara Wells of Paris KY; two sisters-in-law: Phyllis Caputi of Ormond Beach and Angela Piecora of Port Orange; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to being the treasured rock of her family Elinor was a loving and loyal friend to many. She will be deeply missed by those blessed to have had her in their lives.
