Eleanor Leona Rawsky age 75 of Palm Coast died Sunday June 10 2007 peacefully at home following an extended illness. She was born in Detroit Michigan on April 15 1932 the daughter of the late Walter and Sophie Ortell. On August 30 1951 Eleanor married Steve D. Rawsky.
Eleanor is survived by her husband of 56 years Steve; their five children Sharon (Bob) Spry of New Hudson MI Gary Rawsky of Palm Coast FL Terry (Elaine) Rawsky of Brighton MI Elmarie (Steve) Hasbrouck of Hartland MI and Linda Rawsky of Atlanta GA; seven grandchildren Christopher Alyssa Spencer Jordan Hannah Forrest and Matthew; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor Rawsky was a loving mother grandmother and friend. She enjoyed line dancing sewing gardening (she was a "Master Gardener") playing the cordovox and traveling (including trips to Las Vegas).
The family will receive friends for visitation from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday June 14 2007 at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast with a Vigil Service to be held at 7 p.m. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday June 15 2007 in Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church in Flagler Beach. Following the Mass a gathering will be held at Martin's restaurant in Flagler Beach.
