Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Friday May 13 by The Rev. Sante Regale at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. Port Orange for Eleanor V. De Maio who died Saturday May 7 at Horizon Health Care Center in Daytona Beach. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Burial will be in Daytona Memorial Park. Mrs. De Maio came to this area in 1991 from her native Paterson NJ where she was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked in the newborn unit. She also worked for the school system in Paterson in the food services area. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and the Columbiettes and enjoyed cooking crocheting knitting traveling and dining out. The beloved wife of the late Louis De Maio to whom she was married for 57 years Mrs. De Maio is survived by a brother Carmen Cofrancesco of Sparta NJ; 2 sisters Margaret Freiler of Pompton Lakes NJ and Anna Pallante of Ormond Beach; brother-in-law- and sister-in-law Roy and Terry DeMaio of Maywood NJ and sister-in-law Anna Iruato of Oakland NJ.
