Eleanor Gillick of Riviera Assisted Living Holly Hill FL died Jan. 9 2006 at Good Samaritan Center Daytona Beach FL. Mrs. Gillick born in Lowell MA wife of the late John F. Gillick graduated from Lowell High School. She received her R.N. at the school of nursing at Tewksbury Hospital Tewksbury MA. She worked for 45 years at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell MA. She received several awards for volunteer hours at the same hospital after her retirement. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Lowell MA. Eleanor moved to Florida in 1991 she lived with her daughter until she moved to Riviera Assisted Living in 2002. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Eleanor was predeceased by her sister Marjorie McDermott and her brother Charles Mc Dermott. Left to cherish her memories are her children Patricia and Henry Slide of Ormond Beach FL John and Nancy Gillick of Chelmsford MA Edward and Melanie Gillick of Londonderry NH her brother James and Natalie McDermott her 6 grandchildren John Jill Kerry Thomas and Edward Jr. Gillick and Shaleigh Russo her 5 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and her dear friends at Riviera Assisted Living in Holly Hill FL. Remembrances may be made in her memory to Boston Shriners Hospital 51 Blossom Street Boston MA 02114. A private memorial service is being planned.
