Eleanor "Ellie"Finley 100 of Port Orange peacefully passed away October 22 2012 at the Port Orange Hospice Care Center. The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 24th between the hours of 5-7 pm at Cardwell Funeral Home 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave. Port Orange. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 25th at 8:30 a.m. at our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. Port Orange.
Eleanor was a parishioner at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and a member of the National Council of Catholic Women she loved cooking and crocheting and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her 2 daughters Joyce (Frank) Ostendorf of Port Orange FL and Sister Janet Finley of the Order of Saint Francis in Lake Worth FL by a son Edward (Lorraine) Finley of Franklin TN eight grandchildren Kathi Michele Melissa Mathew Eddie Karen Diane and Steven as well as twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred and by her daughter Shaaron Kush.
