Elaine Magdalen Kundmueller of Deltona FL passed away peacefully on January 10, 2020.  She was born in Lakewood Ohio as the eldest daughter of Philip J. Kickel and Magdalina Kickel (Eppich) and is survived by her sister Marilyn Kickel of Norwalk OH.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 63 years, Arthur C Kundmueller.  She is survived by their children James Wilson, Mary Willias (Jeffrey), Karen Sullivan, John Kundmueller, Julianne Lach (Jim), Paul Miller, Leanne Sodee (Bob), Mark Kundmueller (Michelle) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Elaine graduated as a registered nurse from the St. Johns Hospital School of Nursing located in Cleveland OH.  Upon marriage, she accompanied her husband to Germany during his Army service, where they started their family before returning to Ohio and eventually to Deltona FL.

Elaine was a hardworking, modest woman who enjoyed reading, growing flowers, baking breads, rolls, apple strudel, and pies.  Foremost, Elaine was a devoted mother and all children and babies brought her great joy.

A service will be held at Lohman Funeral Home at 11AM on January 20, 2020.  Her burial will be at the Cape Canaveral Cemetery in Mims FL on Tuesday January 21, 2020 at 2PM.
