Eileen M. Carry, 77, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away March 7, 2015 at her home. She was born May 17, 1937 in Wildwood, New Jersey to Thomas and Julia (Cassidy) McKendrick. She was a nurse's aide for over 35 years at the Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Eileen had a great sense of humor, she always wore a smile. Eileen was an avid reader; she enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing, and "Bike Week". Most of all, Eileen loved her family. She loved being with her children and grandchildren, and her love and kindness expanded to her friends.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 38years, Thomas Carry in 1988, as well as her son Thomas and her daughter, Elizabeth. She is survived five daughters, Catherine (William) Trujillo, and Margaret (Karl) Fredland, and Donna (Dave) Bishop, all of Pennsylvania, Eileen P. Carry, Daytona Beach, and Veronica "Ronnie" (Theodore) Bolli, of Clermont, FL, by her son, John J. (Mandy) Carry, Daytona Beach, her sisters, Patricia "Patsy" Higgins, and Judy Fanning, as well as twenty-two grandchildren and numerous geat-grandchildren.
A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Thursday, March 12th at 12:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m.
