Peggy made the best chicken and dumplings. She accomplished many
other things, but the quality of her chicken dumplings cannot be
overstated. Peggy loved to cook for crowds, so many will miss this
delicious meal.
Peggy was very sociable. She excelled at making others smile and
laugh. Later in life she discovered that she loved to go on cruises,
which gave her more opportunities to meet and, as she would say, cut
up with people. Peggy never met a stranger. Peggy was loved by
family and many friends. Recently she relocated to Grand Villa at Palm
Coast, where she made many new friends. Her sense of humor and
love of people were her superpowers.
Peg was an animal lover. She loved cats. She raised chickens and
rabbits. Peg was a gardener. She grew vegetables and plants that
attracted butterflies. Peggy raised butterflies and shared her knowledge
with others. Her gardening abilities were outstanding, and many
considered her to have a green thumb.
Peggy was a seamstress. She sewed clothes for herself and others. She
made clothes for her nieces and made doll clothes. Aunt Peg and Uncle
Jim were very generous. They would take food to families for
Thanksgiving and Christmas. Aunt Peg would provide dolls and
homemade doll clothes to the girls in the families.
Effie (Peggy) Kaufman 97 passed away on Aug 26, 2023 in Palm Coast,
Florida. It was her wish to not have a service. Aunt Peggy and Uncle Jim
will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery Pinellas Park, Florida
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Gentiva Hospice in
Palm Coast, Florida. This organization provided excellent Palliative Care
to her.
