Edwin P. Price 81 of Ormond-by-the-Sea passed away on July 7th 2010 at Florida Hospital Oceanside Ormond Beach. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday July 13th at 10:00 AM at St. Brendan the Navigator Roman Catholic Church Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends on Monday July 12th between the hours of 6-8 PM at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach FL. He was born April 15 1929 to Frank and Catherine (Augustine) Price in Jersey City New Jersey. Edwin was a Lineman/Supervisor with NJ Bell Telephone Co. and AT&T for 35yeras. Upon retirement he relocated to Volusia County in 1989 from Towaco New Jersey. He served his country in the U.S. Army and retired as a Sgt. Major; he attended St. Brendan Catholic Church was a member Ormond Beach Masonic Lodge Bahia Shriners in Orlando and was a member of the Halifax District Boy Scouts of America. He was an avid reader and a history buff. Edwin is survived by his wife of 47 years Diana Price Ormond-by-the-Sea FL son Ed Price and his wife Kelli Payson AZ daughter Pamela Griesser and her husband Jim Havertown PA son Jim Price Bethel Park PA and eight grandchildren Nicole Daniel William Emily Shannon Sydnee Kevin and Mary Kate. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Shriner Children Hospital c/o Bahia Temple 2300 Pembrook Drive Orlando FL 32810.
