Edwin was born in Adjuntas Puerto Rico and immigrated to Boston in 1970. He dedicated his talents as a Salesman for several industries but found great pride in his shop "Rincon Latino" at the Sanford Flea Market for 8 years. Edwin was a quick witted fun loving jovial gentleman an extraordinary musician and a great fisherman. He enjoyed taking care of his "Piece of the Planet" and his puppies but most of all he loved spending time with his children and family.

His beloved mother Margarita Ramos and a brother Sonny preceded him in death and he is survived by his children: Edwin J. Alicea Jr. Jennilee (Joseph) Escobar Jinilee (Kyle) Hildebrandt and Jessicalee Alicea 6 brothers: Ruben Harry Hector Melvin Heriberto and Edgar Alicea a sister Carmen (Igor) Alicea and 21/2 grandchildren 5 nephews and dozens and dozens of nieces.
