Ed worked for Sea Ray for 20 years before pursuing an independent business. He enjoyed surf fishing, Nascar, and Busch Beer. He is predeceased by his wife Patricia, his father Edward Sr, and his three sisters: Jean Anne, Kathy, and Darlene.

He is survived by his mother, Joan Wilson; two brothers, George Wood and Scott Wilson; two children, Danielle Wood and Robert Pedraza; 5 grandchildren and his partner Josephine Trizano. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Stroke Association at stroke.org in Ed's name.
