A Celebration of Life for Edward B. "Ted" Powers 84 who entered into eternal peace Thursday September 6 2007 at Kindred Hospital Green Cove Springs FL will be held on Monday September 10 2007 at 2:00 PM at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Chapel 733 W. Granada Blvd. His family will be receiving friends Monday from 1 PM until 2 PM. Burial will be in Daytona Memorial Park with Military Honors. Surviving him are his wife of 56 years Catherine a son Stephen Powers Louisville KY and a sister Janice Burke Corvalis Oregon. Edward was born October 4 1922 in Buffalo NY. He was a graduate of Boston University and received his MBA from The University of Kentucky. He served in the US Army in General Patton's 3rd Infantry during WW II were he received a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He enjoyed photography golf and woodworking.
