Edward J. Storey 87 of Kensington and Newington CT and Daytona FL died Monday August 18 2008 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 50 years to his late wife Gertrude (Masselle) and resided for many years in the Berlin/Newington area before moving to Daytona FL 30 years ago. Mr. Storey served in the US Army during World War II was a well respected motorcycle mechanic who kept a lot of old Harleys and Indians in top running condition. He was a spiritual man; enjoyed flea markets also worked as a body man and spent several years at Newington Auto Auction prior to his retirement. He was a wonderful husband father grandfather and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his son William Storey and his wife Barbara (Kimball) Storey of Marlborough CT and Port Orange FL; daughter Sheila White and her husband Norman of McKenzie TN; six grandchildren Sherry (John) Keogh of Marlborough CT; Deborah Cumminskey of Newington CT; Brenda (Jim) Adams Colchester CT; Norman White Jr. who resides in Japan Randy White of Georgia and Edward White who resides in England 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Audrey (Masselle) Kuzma and her husband Joseph of Ocala FL; as well as his dog Nicki. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Baggett-Summers Funeral Home today (Friday August 22 2008) between 2-4 PM.
