Edward Eugene Redlinger was surrounded by family as he passed from this life at the Community Hospice Center in Jacksonville, Florida.  He was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in Florida, living in several cities before settling in Deland, then living in Woodburn, Oregon and returning to Jacksonville, Florida.  He loved nature, the beauty of old Florida, the Boy Scouts, singing, his beloved wife and family, his faith in God and the grace of church.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, National Guard and Army Reserve.  He is survived by his wife MaryLou, his children Ginger Redlinger, Leonard Redlinger, and Daryl Redlinger, Renee Hawes, James Herman, Rodney Herman, Bonnie Darnofall, and Sandy Mammen. He is also survived by his brother Richard Redlinger and his wife Bonnie, and sisters Kathy Proctor, and Marianne Redlinger.

The Opening and Closing Graveside Ceremony will be held Tuesday, October 29th at 1:00pm at Deland Memorial Gardens, 600 E. Heresford Ave., Deland FL 32724.  His Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 30th at 1:00pm at Grace Community Church,  10938 Hood Road South, Jacksonville, FL 32257.  If you would like to send  flowers, they can be sent to either location for the ceremony.  If you would like to send cards, please send them to Grace Community Church in Jacksonville.
