Memorial Mass for Mr. Edward F. Qualter 88 of Port Orange FL who passed away Tuesday December 9 2008 will be held 10 AM Saturday Decemer 27 2008 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with the Reverend Joseph Pinchock officiating. Mr. Qualter was born in Chicago IL on May 9 1920 and moved here from Fairfax VA. He was a Quality Assurance Manager for the United States Government Department of Defense and a World War 11 Army veteran where he was presented the Bronze Star Medal. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church were he served as an Usher Lector and bingo worker and was a life member of Our Lady of Hope Council and Archbishop Michael J. Curley Assembly of the Knights of Columbus were he served as Purser and Past Commander of the Color Corps. He was also PFN and Former Captain of the Honor Guard at Msgr. Kivelitz Assembly K of C Freehold NJ. and a Past President of Chapters 92 and 115 of HRRVC. He was also a volunteer for many years at the Catholic Charities Thrift Shop Daytona Beach.
