Edward J. Holcomb of New Smyrna Beach passed away on Wednesday February 15th 2012.

Ted was born on September 25 1918 in Waterbury Connecticut to the late Edna and Edward B. Holcomb. He began his career in banking starting in the mail room and working his way up to President and CFO of Center Bank which later became Wells Fargo. During his professional career he was deeply involved in the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce the historical society and was a lifelong member of the Freemasons

Ted was passionate about golf winning numerous amateur golf titles in Waterbury CT. He was a member of the Country Club of Waterbury Highfield Golf Club New Smyrna Golf Club and the Senior Golf Association of America. Ted also loved skiing cruises and traveled the world extensively. He was a devoted father loving grandfather and his family was the center of his life.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Edward J. "Ted" Holcomb Jr. and his wife Barbara of New Smyrna; Stephen Holcomb and his wife Kathleen of Tampa; grandchildren: Stephen Holcomb Jr. and Susan Lockhart; and 4 great-grandchildren..
