Edward Bloomquist, 81

Edward "Eddie" Patrick Bloomquist, 81, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017.
Edward was born in Manhattan, New York to Edward and Consuelo Bloomquist. He met his soul mate at fifteen years old and married, Marian Angelico, on April 28, 1957. He was a devoted husband of 60 years to his wife Mary and was the ultimate father to his four children Edward, Marian, Michael and David. In his professional life, Edward was a personnel manager for technical recruiting firms for over 40 years.

Edward is survived by loving wife, Mary, son Edward Vincent (Gilberto Torres), daughter Marian Wood (Tom) and Michael (Annie), five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son David and brother, Paul.
A funeral mass in his honor will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, FL followed by internment at Daytona Memorial Park. The viewings will be Monday September 25 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM and Tuesday September 26 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home.
