Edric C. Rose Sr. 88 of Palm Coast FL passed away April 19 2011 at Halifax Hospital Daytona Beach FL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 26 2011 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast FL. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 27 2011 at 10:00 am at the Palm Coast United Methodist Church 5200 Belle Terre Parkway Palm Coast FL 32137. Edric was born in New York NY and raised in Grenada West Indies where he graduated from the Grenada Boys Secondary School. In 1955 Edric returned to Brooklyn NY where he lived until his retirement and relocation to Palm Coast in 1988. He was employed as a civil servant for the Federal Government working for the IRS and the Small Business Administration in New York City. Edric was a member of the Palm Coast United Methodist Church and sang in their choir. He was also a member of the Grenadian Association of Palm Coast. Edric loved painting fishing golfing and bowling and had a passion for singing. He was a loving generous man who will be deeply missed. Edric is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Linda Rose of Palm Coast FL; two sons Edric Rose Jr. of Palm Coast FL; John Rose and his wife Cindy of Seattle Washington; two daughters Barbara Rose of Atlanta Georgia and Paula Rose of Palm Coast FL.; and is the loving grandfather to five grandchildren Everett Brian Talia Natalia and Phillipa.
