Edna D. Smith 84 of Palm Coast Florida passed away April 17 2011 at her home. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 21 2011 from 3:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 4:00 pm at the Palm Coast Seventh-day Adventist Church 5650 Belle Terre Pkwy Palm Coast FL. 32137. Interment will be at Rockville Cemetery Lynbrook New York. All arrangements are under the direct supervision of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW; Palm Coast FL. Edna was born and raised in Trinidad where she achieved her Nursing Degree. She moved to the U.S. in the 1950's to NY. Edna loved education and quickly became a student again attending Long Island University Columbia University and Andrews University. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing a Master's Degree in Education and her Nurse Practitioner's License. In NY Edna was nominated by her peers for the Nurse of the Year award and Woman of the year award. She was a very giving person and enjoyed sharing her knowledge with everyone she met. She is a member of Palm Coast Seventh-day Adventist Church and wrote and published Dailey devotionals. Edna is survived by many Nieces Nephews cousins extended family and a host of friends.
