Funeral Service for Edna M. Giddens "Miss Palm" age 92 passed away Wednesday morning at her home of Timber Trail Holly Hill will be held on Friday April 13th at 11:00 AM in First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach 118 Palmetto Avenue Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM till time of service interment in Daytona Memorial Park will follow the service.

Edna was born in Georgia and moved to this area in 1963 from Palatka. She and her late husband managed the Palm Furniture Store on 2nd Avenue in Daytona Beach until she retired in 1995 after 25 years. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Daytona who was also a great cook and very family oriented. She was married almost 40 years to the late O.W. "Tiny" Giddens. Survivors include her daughter Laticia Hudson and her husband Lewis of Holly Hill FL a grandson Redding "Jess" Blount and his wife Jan and 3 great grandchildren; Brittney Belle Blount Jesse Blount and Johnny Blount.
