Edna L. Bashaw age 97 a 32 year resident of the College Arms in Deland will spend Christmas with our Lord. She passed away on Monday December 20 2010. Edna was born in East Aurora New York to William and Edna Mullen. She dedicated her life in the service of others as volunteer for the Red Cross Meals on Wheels Public Library and the Green Thumb program as well as a caretaker of her parents children and grand children. Edna was a bright dynamic spirited woman of independence; who enjoyed the outdoors long drives dancing porch swings and our Lord.

Her daughter Anne Grady a brother Bill Mullen and a nephew Dickie Mullen preceded her in death and she leaves behind 2 grandchildren; Sherrie and Patrick (Charlotte) Grady great grandchildren: Melissa and Tommy Grady a great great grandson; Nicholas nephew Peter (Sherry) Mullin "adopted" grandchildren Cindy and Peter (Gloria) Jakobowski and many loving friends.
