Funeral service for Edmund Fitzgerald Hubbard 64 of Boar?s Head Drive in Port Orange will be held on Friday October 14th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. Pastor Jack Ottoson will officiate. His family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00pm?till 7:00 pm. Mr. Hubbard will be laid to rest in the Garden of Glory section of Daytona Memorial Park. Ed passed away Sunday morning at the Halifax Medical Center. Born in Pittsylvania County in the Renan Community in Virginia he has been a resident of this area since 1967. A 4 year veteran of the Air Force Ed was a rural letter carrier for the USPS in Volusia County for 18 years. He was a gun collector who enjoyed classic cars and NASCAR.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 35 years Linda and their son Jason C. one brother James G. of Pittsylvania County Va. and one sister Emily Shiles of Richmond Va.
