Funeral service for Edith M. Wilcox age 89 of Lake City Fl. died on Saturday May 6 2006 at Zephryhaven Nursing Home under the care of Hernando Pasco Hospice will be held on Wednesday April 10th 1pm with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Friends call Wednesday 11:00-1:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.


Edith was born on July 5 1916 in Lake City Florida; she was the daughter of Sidney and Eva Williams. Mrs. Wilcox was a devoted wife and Mother. She came to Volusia County in 1951 from Lake City. She loved to quilt crochet sew and garden.

She was married to the late Flake C. Wilcox for 55 years. She is survived by two sons; Butch Rita Wilcox of Gilbertsville KY Mike Dina Wilcox of Plant City FL 4 brothers; Harold Williams of Chipley FL Horace Williams of Jacksonville FL Bryan Williams of Houston TX Sidney Williams of Lake City FL Three sisters; Edna Snelgrove of Lake City FL Doris Stormant of White Springs FL Elizabeth Stormant of Weirsdale FL also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
