Edith Victoria Shultz

August 16, 1924 - September 12, 2021

Edith Victoria Hendershot Shultz (Vicki) passed away on Sept 12th, 2021 at her home with her family present.  Victoria was the daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth Knorr Hendershot. She was born in Danville, Pennsylvania and was a graduate of Kellars School, Danville High School,and Bloomsburg State university. She married Floyd W. Shultz and they had two sons while living in Bloomsburg, Pa. Their first move was to Mt Holly, N.J., then to Riverton, N.J., Atlanta, Ga, Summit, N.J., and wonderful summers in Ocean City, N.J. She lived in Pelican Bay Daytona Beach, Fl. where she was very happy since 1987.

Before moving to Florida Vicki was an administrative assistant at Martindale Hubble in Summit, N.J. She was a very active person in the Florida community, Pelican Bay Country Club, where she served on seven different boards. She was the first president of Pelican Bay women's club, chaired the Halifax Art Festival for 4 years for the Guild of Museum of Arts and Sciences, she chaired the Festival of Trees for 3 years also for the Guild of MOAS and was a former member of the Halifax Yacht Club and the Palmetto Club Symphony Guild. She was honored to be chosen as an Honor member of MOAS and received her treasured Community Service Award in 2002. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed golf and being involved in numerous charity fundraisers.

Vicki shared a large family of 4 brothers, 4 sisters, Mother and Father. All preceded her in death, but one last sister Florence Leiby of Lewisburg, Pa.

Her husband Floyd W. Shultz passed in 2004. Her son Scott C. Shultz passed in May 2018.
Victoria is survived by her son Craig L. Shultz and wife Kathleen of Danville, PA and of Osprey, FL; One Grandson, Cameron C. Shultz of Reno, Nevada; One Granddaughter, Stephanie V. Hutchinson (Shultz) and husband Chris of South Daytona; Two Great granddaughters, Raylene Shultz and Reagan Shultz of Reno, Nevada; One Great-Great granddaughter, Novaley Shultz of Reno, Nevada; One Daughter-in-law, Mrs. Scott C. Shultz (Ginny) Las Vegas, Nevada; and other family members including Rikki Shultz of  Reno, Nevada and many others.

Bart Milano her dear companion of 12 years preceded her in 2015.

Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery with her Loving Husband Floyd W. Shultz distinguished P-51 pilot of WW2.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Museum Guild of Arts and Sciences Daytona Beach, Fl. 32114 would be appreciated.
