Edith M Beecher 85 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on March 20 2013 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House Palm Coast. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday March 29 2013 from 5 pm until the Memorial Service at 6 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW Palm Coast Florida. Edith was born in Islip Long Island to the late Iverson and Emma Logan. She was raised in Brooklyn were she graduated from Bushwick High School and went on to attend Brooklyn College. Edith was employed as an office Manager for the New York Telephone Company for 38 years until her retirement in 1987. In 1995 Edith relocated to Palm Coast Florida. Edith was drawn to the beach and enjoyed spending time doing needle point. Edith's real love was her dogs; especially Sandy Holly and Fawn. Edith was predeceased by her husband Earl in 1989 brother Iverson "Boy" Logan Jr. and sister Kathryn Randolph. She is survived by her sisters Ivy L. Scott of Palm Coast Jacqueline Ware of Palm Coast Roslyn Logan of Palm Coast Shirley Taylor of Texas Nina Dowdy of Georgia and Norma Warwell of Georgia. She also leaves behind many nieces nephews and grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Donations in Edith's name may be made to the Stuart F.
