Edith D. Baetz 90 a resident of Ormond in the Pines passed away on Friday December 7 2012 in hospice care at Florida Hospital. She was born on December 16 1921 in Kiel Germany. Edith was an accomplished singer/actress and had the lead role in musical theater productions on Long Island New York. She sang in New York City on WOR radio and recently entertained her many friends at Ormond in the Pines with her angelic voice. Edith was also a loving wife mother grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her two daughters Beverly A. Robinson of Palm Coast Florida and Brenda Wright of St. Louis Missouri; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Edith is preceded in death by her husband Wilfred G. Baetz and by her son William G. Baetz. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Florida Hospital Hospice Care 770 W.
