A Celebration of Life Gathering for Edgar Thomas "Warren" 72 of Port Orange who passed away on Saturday August 18 2007 will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday August 22 2007 at the Port Orange Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes. Interment will be in Maryland. Warren was born on November 3 1934 to the late Samuel and Evelyn Thomas in Montgomery County Maryland. He faithfully worked for the phone company (C & P and Bell Atlantic) working his way up to Central Management retiring just after Verizon's acquisition. Warren loved to swim enjoyed rollercoasters and after his retirement he tuned pianos for the London Symphony Orchestra. Warren leaves to cherish his memory his brother Samuel (Larry) Thomas; daughters Julie Thomas and Brenda Stanbury and three grandchildren Lliam and Shameus Mooney of Frederick MD and Lee Stanbury. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in honor of Warren to your local chapter of American Lung Association/Pulmonary Studies.
