Memorial Services for Edgar Buxton ""Buck"" Gale 70 who died Tuesday at his Port Orange residence will be 2 pm Saturday March 19 2005 at Port Orange Christian Church 904 Taylor Rd. with The Rev. Scott Clark officiating. Friends may call from 1 pm until service time. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Mr. Gale was born in Richmond VA and came to this area in 1991 from Mt. Pleasant SC. Mr. Gale was an architect and had practiced for 43 years. For 23 years he was president of Gale Architectural Associates with practices in Mt. Pleasant Daytona Beach and Port Orange. He has written two books of Haiku poetry. Mr. Gale proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps and attended Port Orange Christian Church. He enjoyed scuba diving shelling golfing and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 15 years Judy nee Knight; 4 daughters Allison Gale of Marietta GA Martha Cross of Fishersville VA Laurie Baldwin of Daytona Beach Shores and Julie Rosenboom Eddie of Ormond Beach; a brother John ""Jack"" Hall Gale Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Williamsburg VA; a sister Mary Rebecca ""Mickey"" Snead and her husband Lewis of Bellport NY; 7 grandchildren Amber Hickey Zach Ryan Dempsey Alexandra Dempsey MegAnnCross Ryan Rosenboom Cassie Rosenboom and Lindsey Rosenboom; and 2 brothers-in-law Rufus Knight and Ken Agee.
