Eddie Dobrowski age 82 of South Daytona passed away after a short illness on Thursday March 10 2011. A mass in his honor will be held at Epiphany Catholic Church and Mr. Dobrowski will be buried at Sea. Ed was born in Calumet Illinois to Stanley and Josephine Dobrowolski at the early age of 17 he left school and joined the US Navy; he proudly served as a seamen II class on the USS Princeton CV-37 in the Asian Pacific American Areas and China Service earning the WWII victory Metal and a Metal of Good Conduct. Upon his return Eddie dedicated himself to his own business; Diversified Home Service retiring in 1993. He was a member of the American Legion in Illinois an outstanding bowler for many years and enjoyed NASCAR and Greyhound racing. His parents and a sister Jane McCoullough preceded him in death and he leaves behind to his siblings Sigmund Dobrowski Port Orange FL Vince Dobrowski S. Daytona FL and Camille Gaziano Sherwood IL as well as several nieces nephew extended family and friends. Arrangements are under the entrusted care of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
