Earl G. Marksberry 75 of Holly Hill passed away at the Emory L. Bennett Nursing Home on Friday January 16 2004. Born in Boone County Kentucky Earl was a resident of the area since moving here in 1987 from Indianapolis Indiana. He was a linesman for General Motors in Indianapolis for 25 years before retiring in 1980. Earl was a veteran of the US Army as well as a member of the UAW Local #23.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Dzidra and their two daughters Betty Ann Craig of Holly Hill and Gizela Plumings of Latvia; one sister Patricia McGeorge of Louisville Kentucky; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

A memorial service officiated by the Rev. Tommy Rayman will be held at the Ormond Funeral Home on Thursday January 22 2004 at 6 pm. His family will received friends from 5 pm till the time of service.
