Dwayne Brian Nelson, 56, of Daytona Beach, passed away on January 23, 2017 at his residence in Daytona Beach. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday January 28, 2017 at White Chapel Church of God, 1730 S. Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32119. The Family will be receiving friends immediately following the service at the Church. Dwayne was born on June 10, 1960 in Hialeah, Florida to Richard Harvey and Teresa Marie Nelson. He graduated from Prue High School in Prue, OK and then went on to graduate from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa with an Airframe and Powerplant License. In 1989 he moved to the Daytona Beach area from Sunrise, FL. Dwayne was currently employed as an Account Manager with Ecolab for the past 27 years. Prior to that he was employed with Eastern Airlines for eight years.
Dwayne enjoyed fishing, boating, biking and anything outdoors. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Debbie; daughter, Tiffany Rachelle (Anthony) Ganus of Daytona Beach; son, Brian Daniel (Rachel) of Debary; his parents, Richard and Marie Nelson of Elgin, OK; sister, Colleen "Gigi" (Kevin) Upshaw of Elgin, OK; brother, Douglas Vaughn (Rene') Nelson of Coconut Creek; father-in-law, Milton Gonzalez of Palm Coast; mother-in-law, Marie Sifford of NC and his grandchild, London Kent Ganus. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
