Dudley Fitzgerald Metz, 82, of Palm Coast, FL passed away peacefully on March 9, 2014 at his home. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday March 18, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Palm Coast United Methodist Church, interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park, Daytona Beach.

Dudley was born and raised in Jamaica. He moved to New York in 1964, then to New Jersey and settled into Palm Coast Florida in 1998. He was a member of the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church, and sang in the choir. Dudley enjoyed gardening, tinkering with cars and working around his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Lillian, one daughter Jenness and his nine siblings. Dudley is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Hannah, son Kenton Metz (Janet) of NJ, daughters Karlene Harris (Larry) of FL, Janet Chin See of GA, brothers Reverend Bazil Metz, Roy Metz sister Olga Bennett. He was also the loving grandfather to his grandchildren Monique, Andre, Adrian, Brandon, Christina and one great grandchild Juliana.

Donations may be made in Dudley's Memory to the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children Research Hospital. Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook..
