Douglas F. Uebel, peacefully passed away on October 15, 2020 at the age of 79. He was born on June 27, 1941 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Upon graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force and dedicated many years of his life to serving our country. He came to Florida around 1964, went to trade school, and eventually became a member of Sheet Metal Workers International Association 15.

He enjoyed the restoration of antique cars and was an avid fan of NASCAR racing. He enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren.

Douglas was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Frank Uebel, by a son, Jon Uebel, a brother, John Uebel and a step-son, Todd Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Judy Uebel, two sons, Gary and Mark Uebel, a sister, Jeanne Henson of Minnesota and grandchildren, Ethan and Kendall. He is also survived by step-children, Tim and Tyler Phillips and grandchildren, Chandler, Colton, Skylar, Brittany, Tiffany and Cole. and a great-grandson, Rhett.

Due to restriction resulting from the recent pandemic, services will be held privately by the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Douglas' memory to Halifax Health Hospice.
