Douglas A. Tyler Sr. passed away peacefully on March 28, 2017, in Deland, Florida. He was born on March 24, 1945, son of the late Clarence and Ava Tyler, in Bath, Maine. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1962 to 1982, and retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class. He also retired from the United States Postal Service. He loved his family, including his basset hounds and cats. He also had many hobbies, including G scale model trains and toys, as well as former military vehicles. He is survived by his wife, Chun Tyler, and his sons, Douglas Tyler Jr., Stephen Tyler, and Mark Tyler.
