Doug Cook was a real estate developer and entrepreneur and the very definition of the American success story. He was a master negotiator - a deal maker without peer. Many said "Everything he touches seems to turn to gold." Cook Development is synonymous with the most prestigious of addresses in Daytona Beach Shores. Doug developed and sold many impressive buildings, including several historic buildings that he renovated and brought back to their original grandeur.
He is predeceased by his father, William Cook and his grandmother Ruth Hunter. Doug is survived by his mother Eileen Cook, his wife, Sandy Cook, sons Jeremy Cook and Clay Cook, sisters, Linda Norman (Gary) and Renee Tucker and brothers, Bob Cook (Linda), Bill Cook (Robyn) and Jim Cook (Shawna) and their families, including many nieces and nephews.
Doug enjoyed his family including his dog, Harley.
