A Funeral Service for Dot G. Thompson 95 of Ormond Beach who passed away March 17 2009 will be held at 12:00noon Friday March 20 2009 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 West Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach with entombment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday March 19 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Funeral Home. Born on November 21 1913 in Gratton VA to George and Bessie Gregory. Dot moved to Ormond Beach in 1975 from Virginia. She was a member of the Tomoka United Methodist Church. Dot was an avid card player and seamstress. She loved to knit and crochet. She is preceeded in death by her sister Hazel Puckett and her Husband Elmo H. of 67 years. She is survived by her brother Roy Gregory of Eustis; Her Daughter Lancette (James) Brehm of Holly Hill; Grandchildren Rebecca (Mark) Iken of Georgia and Angela Longstaff of Michigan; Greatgrandchildren Brittainy Brett Connor and Gabe.
